US TARIFF STATEMENT
US shipping update for Blamcon customers We wanted to give our US customers a clear update on the new tariff situation affecting some Canadian-made goods entering the United States.
Blamcon products are made in Canada, and we currently ship to the US using CUSMA documentation where applicable. Under the new US Section 338 tariff rules scheduled to take effect on August 19, certain Canadian-origin products may be subject to an additional 50% tariff depending on their HTS classification.
We are reviewing this closely with our shipping and compliance partners. Until we have clarity, we are temporarily holding US shipments rather than risk sending orders across the border and surprising customers with unexpected costs or adjustments.
This does not mean US orders are cancelled. Orders can still be placed, and we will continue preparing them so they are boxed and ready to ship as soon as we can do so responsibly.
We are also accelerating work on the Blamcon 3.0 update and related documentation so the product classification accurately reflects how Blamcon functions as a PC input device. We are not ready to make final claims yet, but this is now a top priority so we can reopen US shipping as quickly and cleanly as possible.
Canadian and international shipping outside the US are not affected by this specific issue. US customers who need something immediately may also want to check availability through our UK partner store: https://beakz-buildz.net/blamcon
We know this is frustrating. It is frustrating for us too. Blamcon has a large US community, and we are doing everything we can to keep products moving without passing along surprise costs or creating avoidable customs problems.
We will share another update as soon as we have confirmed guidance.
